ITINERARIES

All Tokyo bike tour and Tokyo street food tour itineraries offered by DIG Tokyo Tours are accurate at the time of publishing. Itineraries are occasionally updated as improvements are implemented based on feedback from previous participants, DIG’s own research or changes to offerings from service providers. If DIG is unable to utilise a particular product, service or activity outlined in the itinerary, a suitable alternative will be offered where possible. Itineraries can vary and attractions may be substituted in the event of causes including but not exclusive to: seasonal conditions, weather extremes or natural disasters. All activities listed in the tour itinerary are included in the price unless stated otherwise as an additional expense.

FLEXIBILITY

​

Participants appreciate and acknowledge that tours offered by DIG require considerable flexibility and that you should allow for alternatives. The itinerary provided for each tour is representative of the activities planned but it is understood that the walking and cycling routes, schedules, itineraries and amenities may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to circumstances or events outside DIG’s control.

FEES & PRICING

​

Fees are quoted in Japanese Yen (JPY), are inclusive of all taxes and service charges and are correct at time of publishing. No responsibility is accepted by DIG for unforeseen omissions or misrepresentation by third parties.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

​

Fees for optional activities are required to be paid directly to the service provider and are subject to seasonal conditions, operator availability and are not guaranteed.

PAYMENT POLICY

​

In accepting a tour booking, DIG agrees that the traveller's pre-payment will be held in trust until after the tour service has been completed.

BOOKING ALTERATIONS

​

In the event of a booking alteration, such as a change of name or a change of date, DIG and its third party providers, reserve the right to charge a fee if necessary.

CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL

​

DIG reserves the right to alter any route or itinerary if necessary. No refunds will be given under any of these circumstances or in the event of delay or alteration of a tour resulting from causes including severe weather or mechanical failure of the bicycle tour fleet. Components of tour itineraries are very much weather dependent and DIG cannot be held liable if particular tour components are not available on the scheduled day. DIG cannot guarantee the time of pick-up or drop-off and is not liable for the participant’s failure to connect with other services or any associated costs resulting from delays. DIG accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to personal belongings or accompanying luggage.

LIABILITY

While DIG makes every effort to safeguard its participants, DIG will not be liable for any damages, injury, or loss of any type caused by or resulting from any act or omission by its staff, agents or contractors.

ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

​

The participant acknowledges the adventurous nature of the Tokyo cycling, walking and food tours offered by DIG and that participation can involve a degree of personal risk. It is the participant’s responsibility to familiarise themselves with all relevant travel information, the nature of the itinerary and the level of skill and fitness involved. The participant acknowledges that the decision to participate in a DIG tour is made in light of consideration of this information and acceptance that you are aware of the personal risks involved in such a tour.

MINIMUM PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENT

​

DIG’s small-group Tokyo bike tours and Tokyo walking and street food tours require a minimum number of two participants to operate. In circumstances where the minimum numbers are not met an alternative may be offered. If a tour is cancelled as a result of the minimum numbers not being met, participants will be offered an alternate tour option or will be provided with a refund in full.
